Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Oasis — Public Toilets & Drinking Water Android application (package it.rovo.oasisapp) published by RoVo.

1. Location Data

Oasis uses your device location to show your position on the map and to fetch amenities near you. Your coordinates are sent to our server only to return the relevant results for your viewport. We do not store your location history, link it to a user, or share it with anyone.

2. Accounts & Personal Data

Oasis does not require an account or registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contact list, or any other personally identifying information.

3. Advertising

The Nearby list may display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and basic usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can remove ads entirely with a one-time in-app purchase.

4. Analytics

Oasis does not include behavioural analytics SDKs (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude). The backend keeps short-lived server logs (request path, timestamp, anonymized IP) for abuse prevention and capacity planning. These logs are not used to build user profiles.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. The only third-party services involved are Google Play (for installation and billing) and Google AdMob (when ads are enabled).

6. Children

Oasis is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent revision.
